The Audi A3 Saloon has been spotted out in Scandinavia cold weather testing in preparation for its launch which is set to take place late in 2013. The Audi A3 Saloon has been on our radar since it was first revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011.
Despite the Audi A3 Saloon going on sale in the UK, it has been made to target the markets in the US and China in order to go head to head with the Mercedes-Benz CLA. It is expected to cost a few thousand pounds more than its Audi A3 hatchback equivalent.
The Audi A3 Saloon is built on the MQB platform which it will share with the A3 hatchback, MK7 VW Golf, Skoda Octavia and the SEAT Leon.
